Senior Software Engineer, Observability

📋 Description

• Lead design/evolution of logging, metrics, tracing pipelines for large data.
• Evaluate/integrate OpenTelemetry, ClickHouse, ELK for observability.
• Mentor infra engineers; share best practices in tracing, monitoring, logging.
• Define coding standards and operational excellence across the org.
• Partner with Infra, Orchestration, and Product teams to embed observability.
• Own end-to-end reliability for observability tools; set SLAs/SLOs and error budgets.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in observability.
• Production-grade logging, metrics, or tracing systems experience.
• Distributed systems, data streaming pipelines, and Kubernetes.
• Proficient with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry, ELK Stack, Loki, or ClickHouse.
• Comfort with Go, Python, or Java to build observability tooling.
• Experience mentoring across teams; strong communication.
