As a key member of the Accounting team, the Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting the daily accounting operations and objectives. You’ll help drive the full cycle closing process, including preparing and posting journal entries, completing account reconciliations, and performing analyses to ensure accuracy in our GL. A successful candidate is one who is detail-oriented and enjoys collaborating with others to improve processes and help remediate accounting issues.

What you'll do

• A key contributor to the monthly close process; prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support other daily accounting needs; manage timely vendor payments and customer collections
• Address vendor, customer and employee requests
• Ensure accurate coding of all transactions
• Manage employee expense reporting and corporate card reconciliation process
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting requirements
• Assist with the annual financial audit process; prepare audit schedules
• Assist with annual and other tax return requests; prepare tax schedules and answer tax inquiries
• Propose recommendations and identify areas to improve accounting policies and procedures
• Execute on ad hoc projects

Who you are

• You have at least 3 years of relevant accounting experience and can demonstrate advanced Excel and system skills.
• This role is all about the details. You are passionate about process and organization, continuous improvement, and leveraging systems. You need to juggle many different tasks, ensuring they all get done in an accurate and timely manner.
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills. Your approach is clear, thoughtful and customer-focused.

• You value working together and how you can contribute to the goals and success of the team and company. You have the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively with the team and across functions in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred qualifications: CPA license, SAAS experience, SOX experience, and advanced excel and system skills.
