Overview
Airbnb is seeking a Senior Consumer & Product Communications Manager APAC to lead strategic consumer and product communications across the APAC region. This hybrid role is based in Singapore and will partner with cross-functional teams to tell compelling product stories, manage media relationships, and support growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute APAC communications strategies for new product launches and major initiatives.
- Craft messaging for consumers, partners, and stakeholders; create executive communications and byline opportunities.
- Lead media relations, influencer partnerships, and crisis communications for APAC.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, legal, and regional teams to ensure consistent narratives and risk management.
- Monitor media landscape, measure impact, and report on program effectiveness.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and agency relationships; mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or product communications, preferably in APAC.
- Proven track record of shaping consumer and product messaging in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to operate with autonomy in a dynamic, matrixed organization and manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field; experience in tech or platform companies is a plus.
