Overview
Airbnb is seeking a Manager, Technical Recruiting to lead a high-performing team responsible for sourcing and hiring top engineering talent across North America. This remote-friendly role partners with engineering leadership to define hiring strategy, build diverse pipelines, and scale Airbnb's technical organization globally.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of technical recruiters, set goals, and drive performance.
- Partner with senior engineering leaders to understand hiring needs and translate them into scalable recruiting programs.
- Develop proactive sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates and diverse talent pools.
- Build inclusive pipelines and improve interview processes, candidate experience, and time-to-fill metrics.
- Manage relationships with external partners and vendors when applicable.
- Collaborate with HR and people operations to ensure competitive compensation and smooth onboarding.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of technical recruiting experience with at least 2 years in people management.
- Proven track record hiring for software engineering, data, infrastructure, and platform roles.
- Strong sourcing, interviewing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration across product, engineering, and leadership.
- Experience with ATS systems and recruiting analytics; comfortable in a fast-growing, remote-friendly environment.
