Learning Experience (LX) Content Production Lead

Overview

Airbnb is seeking a Learning Experience (LX) Content Production Lead to shape, produce, and deliver high-quality learning experiences that empower teams and hosts around the world. This remote-friendly role blends content strategy, instructional design, and multimedia production to scale education across the Airbnb ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end LX content production for programs, modules, videos, job aids, and interactive experiences.
• Collaborate with instructional designers, product, design, policy, and operations to define learning objectives and measurable outcomes.
• Manage project timelines, budget, and vendors; maintain content calendars; ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee multimedia asset creation including scripting, filming, editing, animation, and accessibility compliance.
• Ensure content aligns with Airbnb brand voice, accessibility standards (WCAG), and learner-centric design.
• Collect and analyze learner feedback and performance data to iterate and improve programs.
• Mentor and coach junior LX content producers; work with cross-functional, globally distributed teams.
• Stay current with best practices in learning experience design and content production.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in learning experience design, instructional design, or content production, with a track record leading LX programs.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud), LMS platforms, and video editing software.
• Experience with storyboarding, script writing, and multimedia production.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design principles.

Nice to have

• Experience in tech or marketplace platforms, ideally in travel or hospitality.
• Experience with data-driven learning and evaluation.
