Corporate Communications Manager, UK&I

Job description

Airbnb is seeking a Corporate Communications Manager for the United Kingdom & Ireland (UK&I) to lead external and internal communications strategy for the region. This hybrid role based in London will shape Airbnb's brand narrative, manage media relations, support executive communications, and oversee crisis communications for UK&I.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies for UK&I
• Draft press materials, statements, and executive communications
• Manage relationships with UK media and key stakeholders
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (PR, policy, marketing, product) to ensure consistent messaging
• Monitor media coverage, assess sentiment, and manage crisis communications as needed
• Oversee budget and program execution for regional communications efforts

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in corporate communications or public relations
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
• Deep knowledge of the UK media landscape; ability to build relationships with journalists
• Experience in tech or hospitality sectors is a plus
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
