📋 Description

• Contribute to end-to-end development of large deep learning models.
• Prepare datasets, design architectures, train and evaluate models.
• Collaborate with engineering and clinical teams to apply AI research.
• Work toward long-term research goals while hitting milestones.
• Turn novel research ideas into working code.
• Publish research to advance AI in healthcare.

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in CS, ML, or related field (or current PhD student).
• Track record of publications in peer-reviewed venues.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow).
• Ability to design experiments and analyze results.
• Work authorization in Portugal (or ability to obtain).
• First-author AI conference publications preferred.
• Deep expertise in LLMs, multimodal learning, DL, or RL.
• Industry research experience during/after PhD.
