AI Research Intern

📋 Description

• Take ownership of a focused research question and drive it to experiments.
• Build prototypes and experiments using AI tooling and MCP.
• Design rigorous evaluations for non-deterministic AI systems.
• Write concise findings and present results to stakeholders.
• Contribute clean, well-tested Python code following Bynder practices.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to ship work.

🎯 Requirements

• Available for a 6-month full-time internship from September 2026.
• Enrolled in a university for the full duration; internship credits required.
• Based in the Netherlands; studying AI/CS/DS or related fields at a Dutch or EU university.
• ML fundamentals and deep learning coursework; at least one of IR, NLP, MAS, RL, KR, or ML for ML.
• Strong Python skills; Git/CLI proficient; familiarity with an ML/LLM framework.
• Joining the Amsterdam or Rotterdam office for the team's anchor day each week.
