AI Automations Consultant Engineer

📋 Description

• Work with US SMB clients to identify automation opportunities across ops and sales.
• Analyze processes and recommend AI-driven improvements.
• Design, build, and implement AI automation using tools and no-code platforms.
• Lead client discovery sessions and gather business requirements.
• Translate business challenges into scalable automation solutions.
• Build systems that clients can independently maintain after deployment.
• Document workflows, SOPs, and handoff processes for client handoff.
• Manage multiple concurrent client engagements in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Communicate project progress and technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and optimize automations post-launch during implementation phases.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in automation/AI consulting or similar roles.
• Experience working directly with US-based SMB clients.
• Strong client-facing communication and project management skills.
• Proven experience managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
• OpenAI / ChatGPT APIs
• Claude APIs
• Zapier / Make.com / n8n
• Airtable
• HubSpot automations
• CRM and workflow integrations
• Understand business ops and identify automation across departments.
• Experience integrating APIs and connecting business systems.
• Ability to independently scope, implement, and document solutions.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience in a consulting, agency, or fractional implementation environment (preferred).
• Experience with prompt engineering and AI workflow design (preferred).
• Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or scripting for automation workflows (preferred).
• Experience implementing AI-powered internal tools or operational systems (preferred).
• Background supporting startups or SMB operational scaling (preferred).
• Experience creating SOPs and client training documentation (preferred).
