AI Architect, Finance

📋 Description

• Design and deploy AP AI agents for invoice intake, coding, matching, and approvals.
• Own onboarding and deployment of AP-focused agents, scoping requirements and launches.
• Advise AP, finance, and procurement on automation to scale while ensuring compliance.
• Provide product feedback to inform agent capabilities for invoice processing and payments.
• Coordinate with customer success, sales, engineering, and finance to drive impact.
• Drive Zip's vision for AI-powered AP and P2P workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in AP/P2P or accounting in an operating role; CPA/CMA preferred.
• Deep AP knowledge: PO creation, three-way matching, approvals.
• 2+ years leading P2P/finance process improvements with end-to-end ownership.
• Built AI agents or automated workflows (N8N, Zapier, Make) with a live example.
• ERP and AP platforms knowledge: SAP, Oracle, NetSuite; Coupa or Ariba.
• APIs and integrations knowledge, including MCP; strong communication skills.
