SUMMARY

Headquarters (HQ) Army Material Command (AMC) provides a wide range of intelligence collection, processing, exploitation, analysis, production, and dissemination activities tailored to senior leader needs throughout the globe. The ability of AMC to provide mission critical intelligence is dependent on the availability and successful operation of their Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) Information Technology (IT).

Agile Defense is seeking a System Administrator to support the ESS information systems, security and VTC requirements ensuring Army Sustainment Command and other AMC- wide SCIFs meet Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) regulations and policies regarding IA, Cybersecurity and Incident Response.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manage, monitor, and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure system uptime and optimal performance.

· Maintaining performance to ensure that the through-put of the system does not degrade unexpectedly as the volume of work increases

· Perform regular system backups, recovery procedures, and data management tasks.

· Provide technical support and assistance to government users.

· Develop and maintain system documentation, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

· Plan and implement software updates, hardware upgrades, and migrations with minimal disruption to operations.

· Provide technical support for on-premise based systems and applications.

· Monitor and optimize the performance of government infrastructure.

· Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies.

· Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.

· Collaborate and provide supporting artifacts and documentation to ISSO to support RMF process and ATO packages.

· Bachelors degree in related field

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills

· CompTIA Security+ CE (or equivalent IAT-II certification)

· Bachelor's degree in related field (e.g. Computer Management Information Systems, Computer Science) and four (4) years related experience, or six (6) years applicable experience, which should include four (4) years specialized experience.
