Our Client

Our client is a key supplier of metal-bending machinery and automated equipment to the sheet metal industry, serving a diverse client base with highly customized solutions. They are currently focused on a major growth initiative, seeking to enhance their internal operations and customer engagement through modern, low-code technology.

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and product-focused Low-Code Developer experienced with Bubble.io to join their technical team. This role is central to modernizing business operations. You will be instrumental in both improving critical internal applications and building future-facing projects, most notably a new Customer Portal. A core part of the role will be ensuring seamless and reliable connectivity between multiple business systems (e.g., Salesforce, ERP, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Enhancement: Enhance, maintain, and secure existing in-house applications built on the Bubble.io platform.

• System Integration: Design, implement, and maintain robust API integrations with core business systems, including Salesforce, SharePoint, and ERP/Odoo systems.

• New Product Development: Lead development efforts for long-term strategic projects, such as the architecture and build of a new Customer Portal for end-users.

• Data Structure & Logic: Optimize database structures within Bubble and design scalable backend workflows and logic.

• Quality Assurance: Troubleshoot, debug, and implement unit testing to roll out features, fixes, and enhancements efficiently and reliably.

• Collaboration & Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders and senior management to define requirements, design intuitive technical solutions, and contribute to the overall low-code technology strategy.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Bubble.io Mastery: Demonstrated significant experience (3+ years suggested or a strong portfolio) developing, launching, and scaling complex applications on the Bubble.io platform.

• Integration Expertise: Proven ability to implement and manage API integrations (both consuming and providing/exposing endpoints) to connect to external services.

• Programming Fundamentals: Strong understanding of general programming and relational database fundamentals.

• Communication & Autonomy: Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work highly independently, manage a project queue, and provide clear, consistent reporting to the CEO/leadership.

• Cloud Comfort: Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly Azure (the primary environment), with awareness of general cloud concepts.

Desirable Skills (Bonus/Plus):

• Hands-on experience with JavaScript and/or Python for custom API pre-processing, webhooks, or server-side scripts

• Experience or familiarity with Odoo ERP or similar industrial-level ERP systems.

• Prior exposure to DevOps practices and version control.
