Our client is a fast-growing retail company with over 30 physical locations across the United States and plans to expand rapidly in the coming years. Backed by experienced leadership and a tech-forward approach to operations, they’re seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support the finance team in maintaining accurate and timely financial records across multiple business entities.

Position Overview

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for day-to-day financial record-keeping, assisting with month-end close, account reconciliations, and supporting reporting processes. This is a remote position ideal for professionals based in Latin America who are experienced in U.S. accounting standards and can work CST hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for multiple entities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure all entries are properly categorized

• Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

• Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for transactions

• Assist in generating financial reports as needed

• Support senior accountants and management with ad hoc financial tasks

• Help identify opportunities for improving financial processes and implementing efficiencies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting

• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and multi-entity accounting

• Experience using Xero and Fathom, or similar accounting/reporting software

• Familiarity with month-end close, reconciliations, and basic reporting

• Prior experience working remotely and collaborating across time zones

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong written and verbal communication in English

• Retail or multi-location business experience is a plus

• CPA is not required, but a strong understanding of accounting principles is essential
