Position: BIM Modeler

Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented BIM Modeler to join our growing team. This role requires advanced proficiency in Revit (with the Fabrication add-on), Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud. You will be responsible for producing high-quality shop drawings for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.

This is a full-time, remote position based in Latin America, collaborating with project teams in the U.S. construction market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage detailed BIM models using Revit with Fabrication tools (mechanical, plumbing, and ductwork).

  • Convert engineering drawings into fabrication-ready shop drawings, adhering to applicable codes and standards.

  • Collaborate with VDC engineers, BIM managers, and project stakeholders to meet delivery deadlines.

  • Participate in coordination meetings and perform real-time model updates.

  • Identify and resolve clashes, ensuring model constructability.

  • Produce and review 2D plan views and 3D isometric drawings.

  • Manage and upload project files using Autodesk Construction Cloud.

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and, as needed, directly with clients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a BIM Modeler, preferably in the U.S. market.

  • Proficient in Revit (Fabrication add-on), Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.

  • In-depth understanding of mechanical, plumbing, and duct systems, including relevant codes (e.g., SMACNA).

  • Experience with high-rise residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Background in construction, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday

  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

  • (Some flexibility may be required based on project needs)

  • Must have proven experience working with U.S. construction projects
