Role overview

We are seeking a Slovak Language Specialist to join our AI training team. You will create, curate and validate Slovak language data to train NLP models, ensuring high quality, coverage of dialects and cultural nuances, and assisting ML engineers with data requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create, curate, and annotate high-quality Slovak language datasets for AI training (text and audio examples as applicable).
• Develop and follow clear data labeling guidelines; review and validate model outputs; identify and report errors.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to specify data requirements and improve data collection processes.
• Ensure data quality, diversity, and linguistic coverage for Slovak dialects and registers.
• Maintain documentation of data collection and labeling procedures; adhere to data privacy and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Native or near-native Slovak language proficiency; strong knowledge of dialects and register variations.
• Experience with data annotation, translation, localization, or language data creation for AI/ML projects.
• Familiarity with annotation tools, data quality metrics, and QA processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment; strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts is a plus.
