Nahuatl Language Specialist - AI Trainer

As an AI Trainer focused on Nahuatl, you will develop and curate Nahuatl language datasets for model training, perform data annotation, and help ensure high-quality, bias-aware AI outputs. This is a remote, worldwide position that values linguistic expertise and careful data handling.

Responsibilities

• Develop, curate, and validate Nahuatl language datasets for AI training and evaluation.
• Annotate data, perform quality checks, and maintain glossaries and documentation.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, linguists, and product teams to improve model accuracy and fairness.
• Design evaluation benchmarks, monitor model performance, and help mitigate bias.
• Document processes and contribute to knowledge-sharing materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, NLP, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with data annotation, NLP tasks, or language resources; strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work remotely and communicate effectively in a distributed team.
• Willingness to work with Nahuatl language data and domain-specific terminology.
