Invisible Agency seeks a Linguistics Expert (SME) to provide subject-matter expertise across client projects, contribute to linguistic analysis, create annotation guidelines, and support NLP model evaluation. This is a remote, worldwide position.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert linguistic analysis across client projects
- Develop and validate annotation guidelines and quality checks
- Support evaluation of NLP models and language data quality
- Collaborate with data scientists, researchers, and engineers
- Document best practices and contribute to project deliverables
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Linguistics or a related field
- Strong knowledge of syntax, semantics, and phonology
- Experience with corpus annotation and NLP tooling
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex linguistic concepts to non-experts
