Legal Counsel Specialist - AI Trainer

Overview

Invisible Agency is seeking a Legal Counsel Specialist - AI Trainer to support our AI initiatives. The role combines legal expertise with AI governance, focusing on data privacy, model training agreements, and regulatory compliance. You will work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and policy teams to enable responsible AI development while protecting the company and our clients.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate data processing agreements, licensing, vendor contracts, and other agreements related to AI training and data usage.
• Advise on legal risks associated with AI training data, model governance, and compliance with privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Draft internal policies and provide training on AI-related legal risk.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and AI ethics teams to implement governance frameworks for data handling and model deployment.
• Monitor evolving AI and data privacy regulations and communicate impacts to the business.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor or equivalent law degree; admitted to practice in relevant jurisdictions (USA).
• 5+ years of experience in corporate/commercial law, data privacy, and AI regulatory matters.
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating data processing agreements and vendor contracts.
• Strong knowledge of data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA) and AI policy considerations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
