Responsibilities

• Curate, annotate, and quality-check Kurdish Kurmanji language data for machine learning models
• Develop and maintain annotation guidelines and task instructions to ensure consistency
• Collaborate with ML engineers and linguists to improve model performance and data pipelines
• Evaluate model outputs for accuracy, bias, and coverage; provide actionable feedback
• Document data creation processes and maintain comprehensive datasets for ongoing use

Requirements

• Native or fluent in Kurdish Kurmanji; strong proficiency in English
• Experience in NLP, linguistics, or data annotation
• Familiarity with AI training workflows and data labeling practices
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup
• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Computer Science, or a related field (education_required)

Nice to have

• Experience with localization or translation projects
• Familiarity with Python or data processing tools
