Jr. Software Engineer Specialist

Target Profile:

• 4+ years of experience in scalable backend systems in production environments.
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, with an ability to write clean, maintainable code across backend and React-based front-end components.
• Experience deploying and maintaining containerized applications using Docker.
• Proficient with designing and consuming REST APIs, and working with frameworks like FastAPI.
• Understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture patterns.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, and modern Git-based workflows.
• Experience working on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is preferred.

Project Overview & Deliverables:

• Container Orchestration: Build and deploy backend services using Docker, you’ll deploy resilient, scalable deployments on GCP.
• Service Development: Develop performant APIs and backend services using Python and FastAPI, and implement or integrate features into React-based front ends.
• Architecture & Integration: Contribute to the design of microservice-based, event-driven architectures that enable seamless system integrations and scalable product growth.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll design and deploy backend systems powering production-grade applications, collaborate on React-based front-end development, and integrate APIs to deliver a seamless user experience. You’ll deploy robust APIs and contribute to event-driven systems architecture. The project will deliver reliable infrastructure and performant backend capabilities.

Compensation:

We offer a pay range of $30+ per hour, with the exact rate determined after evaluating your experience, expertise, and geographic location. Final offer amounts may vary from the pay range listed above. As a contractor you’ll supply a secure computer and high‑speed internet; company‑sponsored benefits such as health insurance and PTO do not apply.
