Invisible Agency is seeking an Isolating Pathogens Specialist - AI Trainer to join our remote team. This role combines microbiology and data science to train AI models that assist in isolating and analyzing pathogenic samples. This position is remote and worldwide.

Responsibilities

Develop and train AI models for pathogen isolation tasks
Collaborate with microbiology and bioinformatics teams to curate and annotate datasets
Design experiments, evaluate model performance, and iterate improvements
Prepare clear documentation and communicate results to cross-functional stakeholders
Maintain data privacy and biosafety considerations in all work

Requirements

Background in microbiology, bioinformatics, or a related field
Experience with Python and machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
Data analysis, statistics, and data cleaning skills
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work with distributed teams
Comfort with remote work and self-management

Nice to have

Experience with pathogen sequencing, qPCR, or culture methods
Publications or prior AI life sciences experience
