Invisible Agency is seeking an Anthropology Specialist – AI Trainer to bridge anthropological insights with AI development. This remote role supports culturally informed AI training data and responsible model improvements on a global scale.
Responsibilities
- Design and conduct ethnographic research to inform AI training data and model behavior.
- Collaborate with ML engineers, product teams, and data annotation partners.
- Create guidelines for data collection, annotation schemas, and quality assurance.
- Analyze user interactions across platforms to identify biases and improvement opportunities.
- Translate research findings into actionable data requirements and labeling strategies.
Requirements
- Educational background in Anthropology, Sociology, or a related field (education_required).
- Experience with qualitative research methods (ethnography, interviews, field studies).
- Familiarity with AI/ML workflows and data labeling processes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate insights into concrete data specs.
