Role
As the Financial Systems Manager, Accounting Systems Development, you will lead the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of Affirm's accounting systems. You will collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, and Engineering to ensure data integrity, scalable processes, and secure access controls across financial systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the configuration and modernization of accounting systems to support financial close, reporting, and compliance.
- Define system requirements, map business processes, and implement scalable integrations with ERP and reporting tools.
- Manage data quality, migrations, security, access controls, and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements and ensure timely financial insights.
- Manage projects, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years experience in accounting systems or ERP administration.
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
- Experience with ERP software and system integrations.
- Project management and excellent cross-functional collaboration abilities.
