Role

As the Financial Systems Manager, Accounting Systems Development, you will lead the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of Affirm's accounting systems. You will collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, and Engineering to ensure data integrity, scalable processes, and secure access controls across financial systems.

Responsibilities

Lead the configuration and modernization of accounting systems to support financial close, reporting, and compliance.
Define system requirements, map business processes, and implement scalable integrations with ERP and reporting tools.
Manage data quality, migrations, security, access controls, and audit readiness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements and ensure timely financial insights.
Manage projects, timelines, and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
5+ years experience in accounting systems or ERP administration.
Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
Experience with ERP software and system integrations.
Project management and excellent cross-functional collaboration abilities.
