Financial Systems Manager, Accounting Systems Development

Job Description

Affirm is seeking a Financial Systems Manager, Accounting Systems Development to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Affirm's financial systems and accounting data flows. This role ensures data integrity, supports financial reporting, and partners with Accounting, FP&A, and IT teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and implement new financial systems and integrations to support the close cycle and reporting needs.
• Manage data workflows, ETL processes, and ensure data quality.
• Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, and IT to design, test, and deploy system improvements and automation.
• Maintain internal controls and documentation to support audit readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial processes and system performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial systems management or accounting systems development.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, data models, and financial reporting.
• Experience with integrations, data pipelines, and process automation.
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
