Compensation Business Partner – Affirm
Affirm is seeking a Compensation Business Partner to design, implement, and optimize compensation programs that attract, motivate, and retain top talent across the organization. In this role you will collaborate with HR, finance, and senior leaders to translate business strategy into competitive total rewards, including base salary, incentive plans, and equity compensation. You will provide data-driven insights, run market benchmarking, and support global compensation processes for our remote US workforce.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain base salary ranges, incentive programs, and equity compensation plans.
- Lead market pricing analysis and benchmarking to ensure external competitiveness.
- Partner with HR partners and hiring managers on offers, promotions, and career progression.
- Manage annual compensation planning cycles, budgets, and approvals.
- Build and maintain compensation dashboards and reporting for leadership.
- Ensure compliance with compensation policies and relevant laws; support internal pay equity analyses.
- Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, and People Analytics for accurate and timely compensation data.
- Support global expansion and remote workforce compensation nuances.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in compensation or total rewards; experience with equity compensation is a plus.
- Strong analytical capabilities (Excel/BI tools) and experience with HRIS (e.g., Workday, SAP, ADP) and equity systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management across remote/onsite teams.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and work well with ambiguity.
