Director, Communications and Digital Marketing

Global leaders, including Adobe, Airtel, Barclays, Criteo, DBS Bank, Experian, Grab, HDFC Bank, PayPal, Sony Interactive Entertainment, The Trade Desk, and Wayfair, rely on Aerospike for customer 360, fraud detection, real-time bidding, profile stores, recommendation engines, and other use cases.

We're looking for a highly skilled Director of Communications and Digital Marketing to join our marketing team. You'll drive all aspects of external communications and digital marketing, including analyst relations, press relations, Search Engine Optimization, Answer Engine/Gen AI Engine Optimization, website, organic and paid social.

• Lead a team of A players to uplevel the AR, PR, SEO, AEO/Gen AI Optimization, Website, organic, and paid social functions at Aerospike

• Team up with the leader for field and partner marketing to deliver the joint goal for pipeline creation, with an intense focus on the new logos 

• Build a world-class communication plan internally and externally to communicate the key differentiators of Aerospike as a real-time database for transactions and three types of AI:  machine learning inference or predictive AI, generative AI, and agentic AI 

• Raise awareness of the Aerospike product suite and Aerospike as a company among engineers and executives building high-performance data infrastructure in adtech, financial services, fintech, retail, telecom, and new tech companies. 

• 7+ years of professional experience as a leader with hands-on experience in building and scaling communications, website, organic, and paid social for a hypergrowth startup 

• Deep understanding of integrating and optimizing the entire GTM technology stack, comprised of Salesforce, 6 Sense, Qualified, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Ads, SalesNavigator, Dripify, and other tools to increase the pipeline with efficient spend 

• Strong performance in building and implementing a comprehensive communications plan to drive awareness and engagement for a tech startup (bonus points for experience with B2B SaaS, especially databases
