Drive the vision and execution of Addi's lending product experience, ensuring a seamless, intuitive, and trustworthy journey for every user while leading, growing, and mentoring a world-class design team to deliver measurable business outcomes from increasing transaction rates to improving customer satisfaction by blending data-driven insights with a deep sense of empathy and customer clarity.
Increase feature adoption and retention for key deposit/savings features through iterative design optimization based on A/B testing and user analytics.
Achieve user success rate on the new bill payments flow, eliminating key friction points identified through usability testing and reducing support tickets related to this function.
Lead the discovery and design of one major new financial product or feature (e.g., a new investment option or expanded payment method) that successfully moves from research to a measurable MVP launch within the year.
Establishment of Design Best Practices: Define, document, and integrate user experience principles for security and transactional workflows, ensuring alignment with the design system and improving team-wide consistency.
Demonstrates strategic Design Ownership
Experience & Domain: Minimum 5+ years as a Product Designer, with significant experience in Fintech, Banking, or complex financial services (B2C or B2B2C).
Strategic Thinking, proven ability to translate ambiguous business goals and financial requirements into a clear, long-term design vision and actionable roadmap.
Demonstrated track record of leading the full design lifecycle, from initial research and concepting through final pixel polish, launch, and post-launch iteration based on performance data.
Acts as a self-starter who proactively identifies revenue/engagement opportunities or risks and drives solutions without extensive prompting.
Advanced UX/UI Craft & Systemic Thinking
Strong proficiency in high-fidelity prototyping, advanced interaction design, and using Figma for both high-fidelity mockups and systemic component management.
Deep understanding of holistic user flows across complex financial funnels (UX) and the ability to design interfaces for regulated, high-stakes transactions.
Proven ability to define, evolve, and implement components and principles within a Design System to ensure consistency and scalability across multiple product streams.
Expertise in designing and analyzing usability tests, interpreting data analytics, and translating quantitative/qualitative research insights into actionable, prioritized design decisions.
Posseses Stakeholder Influence & Cross-Functional Partnership
Acts as a strong user advocate, capable of clearly articulating design vision, user needs, and project risks to senior leadership, Engineering, and Product Management.
Proven ability to build trust and consensus across disciplines, guiding cross-functional teams toward the optimal user outcome while managing competing business/technical constraints.
Exceptional skill in soliciting, filtering, and synthesizing constructive feedback from diverse stakeholders into focused, iterative design improvements.

We believe in a fast, transparent, and engaging hiring experience that allows both you and us to determine if there's a great fit. Here’s what our process looks like:
Step 1: People Interview (30 min)
A conversation with a recruiter to get to know you, your experience, and what you're looking for. We’ll also share more about Addi, our culture, and the role.
Step 2: Initial Interview (45 min)
A more in-depth conversation with the hiring manager, where we explore your skills, experience, and problem-solving approach. We want to understand how you think and work.
Step 3: Deep Dive interview (45 min)
You'll meet future colleagues and cross-functional team members to get a feel for how we work together. We’re looking for strong contributors and cultural fits, so bring your questions, too!
Step 4: Business Case (3-5 Days)
You may receive a real-world challenge or case study to complete. This is a chance to showcase your expertise and how you approach key problems relevant to the role.
Step 5: Stakeholder Interview (30 min)
A conversation with your Product Director to discuss product strategy, technical trade-offs, and collaboration. Be ready to showcase how your design decisions and product delivery align with business and user needs.
Step 6: Co-Founder Interview (30 min)
If there’s a strong match, you’ll have a final conversation with our Founder to align on expectations, cultural fit and ensure mutual excitement. From there, we’ll move quickly to an offer and discuss next steps.
