Protect Addi's financial platform and new bank operations by leading the efficient execution and continuous improvement of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) due diligence, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring processes, ensuring zero-tolerance regulatory compliance (SARLAFT/ROS) to support sustainable growth and the company's status as a regulated entity.
Reduce AML Case Resolution Time by redesigning the case management workflow and improving documentation standards, ensuring full audit readiness and faster responses to potential threats.
Automate manual Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) data collection tasks s by partnering with the Engineering team to implement new tools, freeing up analyst capacity for high-risk and complex investigations.
Achieve a 98% accuracy rate on sanctions screenings by refining screening rules and streamlining the alert escalation process, ensuring full compliance with OFAC, UN, and other relevant sanctions lists.
Improve Suspicious Activity Report (SAR/ROS) quality by launching a new quality assurance (QA) framework within 6 months, resulting in a 50% reduction in submission errors and strengthening our relationship with regulators.
Demonstrates Deep Regulatory & Risk Expertise
Applies comprehensive knowledge of AML/CFT frameworks (including SARLAFT) to ensure compliance across all due diligence and monitoring activities.
Interprets and operationalizes international sanctions programs (OFAC, UN, EU) to manage risk exposure effectively.
Evaluates complex transactional scenarios to determine potential suspicious activity, escalating cases appropriately and supporting regulatory reporting.
Proven Experience in Operational Execution & Case Management
Conducts and documents end-to-end AML investigations with precision, ensuring traceable, audit-ready records that meet regulatory expectations.
Manages regulatory reporting processes (e.g., ROS/SAR submissions) within required timelines and quality standards.
Continuously improves due diligence and monitoring workflows by identifying process gaps and implementing control enhancements.
Exhibits Strong Collaboration & Cross-Functional Influence
Builds trusted partnerships with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Legal teams to integrate AML and DDI requirements into business operations.
Clearly communicates complex compliance concepts to non-specialist audiences, translating risks into actionable guidance.
Influences cross-functional decision-making to ensure business growth is aligned with regulatory expectations and ethical standards.
Has Solid Professional AML Background & Growth Mindset
Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Systems or Industrial Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline, with 3+ years of experience in AML, sanctions, or financial crime compliance.
Brings an analytical, detail-oriented, and outcome-driven mindset to manage high-stakes compliance scenarios in dynamic environments.
Adapts quickly to evolving regulations and business needs, demonstrating agility typical of fast-growth fintech or startup contexts.
Maintains or pursues relevant professional certifications (e.g., SARLAFT, FIBA, ACAMS, Risk Management) to strengthen technical credibility.

Step 4: Co-Founder Interview
If there’s a strong match, you’ll have a final conversation with our Founder to align on expectations, cultural fit and ensure mutual excitement. From there, we’ll move quickly to an offer and discuss next steps.
