Product Designer
We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our growing Design team at ActiveCampaign. In this role, you’ll be working across the platform, contributing to experiences that help our product scale with clarity, consistency, and impact. You’ll work alongside product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to improve cross-cutting patterns, simplify complex systems, and shape experiences that support our customers across their journey. This is a great opportunity for a designer who enjoys untangling ambiguity, collaborating across teams, and translating insights into meaningful user experiences.
What your day could consist of:
- Design with AI in mind—anticipating where automation, intelligent defaults, or AI-generated content can simplify and reimagine user workflows
- Collaborate on the design of AI-powered tools and features that guide, accelerate, or simplify user actions within the product
- Create thoughtful, scalable solutions that support product-wide patterns, navigation, and core platform capabilities
- Explore and iterate on AI-native patterns, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that solve user problems and enhance consistency
- Collaborate across teams to identify friction points and improve shared user experience foundations
- Use customer feedback, usability testing, and product data to validate ideas and refine solutions
- Contribute to projects from early exploration through launch, balancing user needs, technical considerations, and business priorities
- Work closely with the Design Systems team to apply and evolve reusable components and guidelines
- Share your work early and often, welcoming feedback and contributing to a culture of critique and collaboration
- Keep an eye on how your designs perform, and continue refining based on what you learn
What is needed:
- A portfolio that shows strong product thinking, design craft, and systems-level problem solving, and the curiosity to dabble with AI
- Understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and visual hierarchy
- Experience working across surfaces or designing repeatable patterns and frameworks
- Ability to clearly communicate your thinking, rationale, and tradeoffs to peers and stakeholders
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and working in iterative, fast-paced, cross-functional environments
- experience working with (and contributing to) a design system
- Curiosity about emerging tools, trends, and how technologies like AI may shape the future of product design
