ActBlue is seeking a Security Engineer II to join ActBlue Technical Services. This remote role focuses on building and maintaining secure systems, guiding security practices across our platform, and responding to security incidents.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain security controls across cloud services.
Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis.
Develop and maintain security tooling, monitoring, and incident response protocols.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure secure software development lifecycle.
Participate in security reviews and governance activities.

Qualifications

2+ years of professional security engineering or related experience (mid-level).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS/GCP), container security, and CI/CD pipelines.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and security tooling.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
