Role:

We’re hiring a Video Editor to support the team behind Alex and Leila Hormozi on a contract-to-hire basis. You’ll transform raw footage into high-impact, retention-driven videos that educate and inspire millions. Working under our Lead Editor and alongside a high-performing media team, you’ll execute world-class edits, support the creative process, and help bring stories to life that grow the Hormozi brand.

This role is ideal for an editor with strong technical skills and editorial instincts who’s ready to contribute at a high level inside a fast-moving production environment.

Responsibilities:

Long-Form Editing and Production

  • Edit and deliver polished, high-retention long-form YouTube videos each week.

  • Execute on pre-production outlines, packaging direction, and creative notes from the Lead Editor.

  • Flag issues in footage and share observations that improve storytelling and production quality.

Creative Execution and Research

  • Stay current on industry trends, editing styles, and competitor formats.

  • Suggest creative approaches and highlight potential challenges early.

  • Apply brand guidelines, editorial standards, and proven retention tactics consistently.

Workflow and Collaboration

  • Communicate progress daily and follow established production processes.

  • Maintain clean project files, organized timelines, and asset management systems.

  • Use team-provided resources like templates, intros, and motion graphics.

  • Collaborate with short-form editors to create promo clips from long-form content.

  • Participate in post-mortems and apply learnings to continuously improve output.

Production Support

  • Assist with basic production needs such as props or simple scene setups.

  • Offer thoughtful revision feedback when requested.

  • Monitor channel comments periodically to remove spam and support a healthy viewer environment.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of professional video editing experience.

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; familiarity with After Effects preferred.

  • Basic motion graphics ability or willingness to learn brand-aligned graphics quickly.

  • A portfolio website showcasing top editing work (required).

  • Strong organization and communication skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

  • Ability to balance speed, quality, and brand consistency in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Curiosity and eagerness to test new tools, workflows, and creative approaches.

Results:

  • Deliver high-quality long-form edits on time, contributing to strong retention and watch-time performance.

  • Support a consistent publishing cadence by helping maintain a backlog of ready-to-publish content.

  • Enhance team output through clean editing practices, reliable workflows, and consistent execution.

Location:

  • Las Vegas, NV (Hybrid)

  • Ability to relocate to Las Vegas, NV after a successful completion of contract + positive performance

Relocation Assistance:

  • We know that great talent comes from all over, so we're here to help you make the move. For this role, we offer:

    • $5,000–$7,000 in relocation support

    • Up to 3 months of temporary housing (capped at $3,500 per month)

Compensation:

  • $70,000 - $85,000 annually

  • The salary range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills, and expertise. This range is only inclusive of base salary, not benefits (more details below).
