Manager, Web Operations at Acquia

Overview

Acquia is seeking a Manager, Web Operations to lead the performance and reliability of our web delivery platforms. You will manage a team of web operations engineers and collaborate with product, software engineering, and reliability teams to ensure high availability, scalable deployments, and exceptional digital experiences.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the Web Operations team, setting priorities and career development paths
Own uptime, performance, incident response, and on-call processes
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Collaborate with product managers and engineering for launches and site improvements
Optimize cloud infrastructure and containerized environments (e.g., AWS, Kubernetes)
Champion security, accessibility, and best practices across web platforms

Qualifications

5+ years in web operations, site reliability, or platform engineering
Demonstrated leadership and people management experience
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or similar), Linux, Docker/Kubernetes
Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
Experience with Drupal/Acquia or CMS ecosystems is a plus
