Accounts Receivable Specialist

📋 Description

• Establish contact with past-due customers and resolve delinquency with payment arrangements.
• Collaborate with billing, accounts receivable, and other internal teams to reach goals.
• Exercise independent judgment to determine account handling and resolution.
• Focus on customer experience to reduce payment delays and boost satisfaction.
• Monitor accounts daily; contact clients about overdue payments and encourage timely payments.
• Manage disputes and resolve issues with sales, billing, and other stakeholders.
• Investigate historical data for debts and invoices.
• Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress.
• Ensure customer queries are passed to relevant teams with full details for prompt turnaround.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across functions for process improvements.
• Collaborate with other finance functions.

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, and/or Linguistic.
• Ideally first experiences in accounting/financial administration.
• Strong communication skills for internal stakeholders and multinational teams.
• Eager to learn and deliver best-in-class customer experience to Celonis' internal and external stakeholders.
• Very comfortable with numbers.
• Target-driven, quick learner, and team player.
• Independent and entrepreneurial work style.
• Business fluency in English.
• Fluency in a second European language is a strong plus.
