Accounting Manager North America

📋 Description

• Manage and ensure accurate and timely accounting operations for North American entities.
• Guarantee US GAAP compliance across all accounting and reporting processes.
• Participate in estimation of provisions (deferred revenue, customers' depreciation, etc.) for monthly and annual closing.
• Review and close monthly and annual accounts.
• Implement and improve accounting processes, ensuring scalability and accuracy.
• Act as a key point of contact for external and internal audits (SOX requirements).

🎯 Requirements

• Mandatory: Strong US GAAP knowledge in previous roles.
• Valuable: SOX compliance exposure.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-3 years in a Big Four; at least 1 year in managerial accounting.
• Proficiency with Excel; ERP experience (Navision a big plus).
