Accounting Manager (Clinical)

📋 Description

• Manage monthly close for clinical R&D accruals.
• Own monthly clinical tracker: expenses, prepayments, accruals.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations per US GAAP and SOX.
• Review CRO budgets and align estimates to contracts and study progress.
• Analyze contracts to ensure proper POs, budgets, and work orders.
• Help implement new systems to improve reporting and cost tracking.

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS in accounting or finance; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 7+ years in accounting at a publicly traded biotech/pharma; R&D/clinical exp.
• SAP (or Oracle/NetSuite), Coupa; Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH).
• Ability to interpret complex clinical vendor contracts and apply US GAAP.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and prioritization.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Outsourcing, Clinical Ops, FP&A.
