- Manage day-to-day operations for general ledger accounting.
- Liaise with AR, Billing, AP and Finance for inquiries.
- Review monthly close entries and ensure timely close deadlines.
- Oversee accounting staff to meet close and reporting deadlines.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and GL analyses for accuracy.
- Prepare/audit schedules and assist with year-end tax schedules.
🎯 Requirements
- ERP/accounting software experience (SAP, Oracle, Intacct, NetSuite, Maconomy).
- GAAP/FASB/SEC knowledge and ability to research accounting literature.
- GL reconciliation and account analysis capabilities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- CPA (or equivalent) preferred.
- 5-7 years accounting experience with 2+ years managing an accounting team; Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, PivotTables).
