- Prepare and maintain FOCUS filings including net capital and customer reserves.
- Maintain broker-dealer general ledger; month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries.
- Compute and monitor aggregate indebtedness ratios and net capital; flag CFO.
- Support financial reporting for Stock Loan and Stock Borrow activities, including P&L and liquidity treatment.
- Digital asset accounting: month-end accounting for digital asset positions, including mark-to-market valuations and custody reconciliations.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance; CPA preferred.
- 3–6 years of accounting experience in broker-dealer, financial services, or public accounting.
- Working knowledge of SEC Rules 15c3-1 and 15c3-3, FINRA reporting, and FOCUS.
- Proficiency in US GAAP financial reporting.
- Strong Excel skills; experience with general ledger systems.
- Background in digital asset accounting (preferred).
