Accountant

📋 Description

• Deliver timely month-end, quarter-end, and annual close activities
• Own key balance sheet areas: accruals, prepaids, cash, and other accounts
• Prepare and record journal entries with GAAP supporting documentation
• Support global accounting ops incl AP, expenses, payments, reconciliations
• Manage corporate card and Travel & Expense programs
• Use an AI First mindset to identify automation opportunities
• Partner with stakeholders and vendors, meeting SLAs
• Support audits and internal controls to strengthen processes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
• 2–3 years accounting in a global company
• ERP experience (e.g., Workday) and US GAAP knowledge
• Month-end close, reconciliations, and flux analysis
• Strong written and verbal English with global stakeholders
• Must be able to work US EST hours
• Prior experience using Workday
• Experience supporting US-based finance across time zones
• Exposure to SOX compliance and audit support processes
• Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivots, reconciliations)
