Abuse Investigator (Threat to Life)

📋 Description

• Review abuse leads and investigate activity to disrupt abusive operations.
• Develop abuse signals and tracking to detect harmful activity.
• Identify workflow improvements to expedite investigations while mitigating risk.
• Communicate investigation findings to stakeholders internally and externally.
• Develop understanding of products and data; work with tech teams to improve tooling.
• Support on-call, rapid threat triage, and concise leadership briefings.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep expertise in counterterrorism and violent activity mitigation.
• Strong familiarity with technical investigations using SQL and Python.
• 12+ years tracking threat actors or handling violent offenders.
• At least two years creating automated approaches to work.
• Experience presenting analytic work in public or policy settings.
• Speak another language besides English.
• Adapt quickly to new processes in high-stress, ambiguous environments.
