Senior Software Engineer

We are hiring experienced Senior Software Engineers who can create high quality engineering artifacts used to train and evaluate advanced AI coding assistants. This role does not involve building production features or owning product systems. Instead, you will apply your engineering expertise to design realistic coding tasks, review model-generated code, write high quality examples, and evaluate coding agent behavior.

You will collaborate with leading AI labs and teams developing next generation coding agents, contributing directly to how these models learn to write, debug, and reason about code.

Core Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Deep experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and code review best practices

• Proficient in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript

• Extensive hands-on use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex CLI, or Cursor

• Working knowledge of LLM evaluation, benchmarking, and structured model assessments

Preferred Experience

• Setting up GitHub Actions, workflows, and PR review processes at team scale

• Strong Docker and DevOps skills or applied ML engineering experience

• Active contributions to open source projects

• Experience writing technical documentation, tutorials, or challenge problems (helpful but not required)

Engagement Details

• Flexible hours with a minimum commitment of 20+ hours per week

• Project length 1 to 2 months, with potential to extend

• Compensation up to 150 dollars per hour

• Independent contractor role
