Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking Senior Data Scientists with strong analytical, statistical, and machine learning skills who can design experiments, evaluate model behavior, build data workflows, and reason clearly about data-driven decisions. Candidates should be comfortable working across the spectrum of data science tasks, including experimentation, modeling, analytics, and data pipeline evaluation.

Core Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Applied ML, Analytics, or Data Engineering

• Strong proficiency in Python and common DS/ML libraries (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, Matplotlib)

• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with real-world datasets

• Ability to design, run, and interpret experiments such as A/B tests

• Experience evaluating ML model performance, diagnosing failure modes, and improving model quality

• Ability to analyze datasets, extract insights, and communicate findings clearly

• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar)

• Experience working with data workflows or pipelines (dbt, cloud warehouses, ETL concepts)

Preferred Experience

• Experience training and evaluating ML models, including feature engineering

• Experience with distributed data tools (Spark, Hadoop) or streaming systems (Kafka)

• Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift

• Experience building dashboards, KPI tracking, and BI reporting

• Exposure to LLM evaluation, benchmarking, or prompt analysis

• Strong written communication skills for explaining reasoning and analytical decisions

Engagement Details

• Flexible hours with a minimum commitment of 20+ hours per week

• Project length 1-2 months, with a potential to extend

• Compensation up to $150/task
