Able is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Full-Stack JavaScript for a contract role. This remote position offers the opportunity to contribute to scalable web applications and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and modern front-end frameworks.
Collaborate with product, design, and QA to deliver high-quality software.
Lead architecture decisions, conduct code reviews, and drive performance and security improvements.
Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical planning and leadership activities.
Contribute to testing strategy and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable deployments.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in full-stack JavaScript development.
Strong Node.js experience and front-end skills (React/Next.js) with TypeScript.
Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs.
Database experience with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB.
Cloud experience (e.g., AWS) and solid understanding of software design patterns.
Excellent communication and ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
