Overview

Join 6sense as a Senior Security Engineer in Field Security. This role focuses on protecting data across field operations, implementing robust security controls, and ensuring secure design and operation of systems used by field teams and customers. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and operations to strengthen security postures and respond effectively to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate security controls for field deployments and endpoints
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations to embed security into development processes
• Lead incident response and security investigations for field-related incidents
• Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability management
• Build and maintain security monitoring, alerting, and reporting
• Develop security automation and tooling; participate in security reviews of new features and integrations
• Mentor junior security engineers and provide security guidance to cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering or a related field
• Strong knowledge of security architectures, identity and access management, encryption, and network security
• Experience with cloud security across AWS/Azure/GCP
• Experience with incident response, forensics, and malware analysis
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
• Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field; CISSP or similar certification preferred
