66degrees is seeking a senior contractor to engage on a 19-week remote assignment for 45 hours per week with potential to extend. Interested candidates should have the following required skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment. 

***Important note*** -  Need candidate to join by end of November

• 8+ years of experience designing, architecting, and implementing microservices architecture.
• 2+ years of experience in designing architecture.
• Deep knowledge of software architecture in distributed systems.
• Able to conduct code reviews and mentor software engineers.
• 5+ years of experience in developing cloud-native applications. 
• Experience in both front-end and back-end development (must have deeper experience in backend development, but familiarity and exposure with full-stack development required).
• Proficient in Java (8 to 17). 
• Proficiency in developing applications on the Google Cloud Platform suite of products and services (or equivalent cloud), primarily with serverless architectures is nice to have.
• Must have experience with Spring boot and React. 
• Familiar with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
• Familiar with the scrum process and Git.
• Experience establishing CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery.
• Background in professional services/consulting.
• Strong communication skills.
• Eager to work in a collaborative environment.
