Japanese / English Gaming Support Agent

Overview

5CA is seeking a Japanese / English Gaming Support Agent to join our remote team. This role provides player support for our gaming services in Japanese and English. You will respond to inquiries via chat and email, troubleshoot account and gameplay issues, guide players through in-game features, and escalate complex problems to relevant teams. The ideal candidate is bilingual in Japanese and English with excellent written and verbal communication, empathy, and a passion for gaming. This is a remote, full-time position with opportunities to work with a diverse global team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to player inquiries in Japanese and English via chat and email
• Troubleshoot account issues, in-game features, and payment or subscription questions
• Document issues clearly and maintain up to date knowledge base articles
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to resolve recurring problems
• Maintain high quality and SLA targets while delivering friendly, helpful support

Requirements

• Proficiency in Japanese and English (C1 level or equivalent)
• Prior experience in customer support or gaming industry is preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting and manage multiple tickets
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
• Familiarity with help desk tools and CRM systems is a plus
