Overview

540 is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will partner with development teams to embed security into the software delivery lifecycle and automate security checks.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
Automate security testing, vulnerability management, and compliance checks
Collaborate with engineering teams to enforce security best practices
Monitor cloud environments and respond to incidents
Develop and maintain tooling to improve security posture

Requirements

Proven experience in DevSecOps, SRE, or security-focused DevOps roles
Experience with AWS or other cloud providers
Strong knowledge of security tooling (SAST/DAST, SCA)
Experience with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
Automation scripting (Python, Bash)

Nice to have

Cloud security certifications (CISSP, CCSK, AWS Certified Security)
Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
