Job Scope
This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our global IT infrastructure, while also driving operational excellence in daily IT support and systems administration. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on approach to managing device endpoints and critical platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Jamf), along with a deep commitment to access control, compliance, and user satisfaction. You will oversee vendor partnerships, enforce security protocols, and partner with cross-functional leaders to align IT capabilities with broader organizational goals, enabling a seamless and secure digital workplace experience for globally distributed teams.
Essential Functions
- Lead the development, maintenance, and scalability of internal IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable network performance, uptime, and global accessibility across offices and remote environments.
- Manage daily IT operations, including hardware provisioning, software deployments, endpoint configurations, and lifecycle tracking to ensure operational readiness and asset integrity.
- Provide high-quality, responsive support through hands-on helpdesk services and ticketing systems, maintaining SLAs while driving continuous improvements in user satisfaction and service delivery.
- Oversee the administration of critical systems such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoom, Slack, and divide management platforms (e.g., Jamf, Intune), ensuring proper access control and system hygiene.
- Own identity and access management practices, enforcing secure authentication protocols, and maintaining structured onboarding/offboarding workflows.
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to define and execute on strategic IT projects and initiatives, aligning technology decisions with business objectives and growth plans.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with IT vendors, managed service providers, and software suppliers (negotiating contracts, tracking SLAs, and monitoring service quality and cost-effectiveness).
- Develop and implement IT security policies, coordinate vulnerability scans and audits, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as SOC2, GDPR, or relevant frameworks.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, enterprise software, device management, and IT governance.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Hands-on experience with key business and IT Platforms and tools such as Airtable, Zapier, Salesforce, Ironclad, AllVue/Altareturn, HubSpot, AWS, Jamf, and Okta.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project management or related certifications (PMP, CAPM, SCRUM, etc.).
- Previous experience in PE, VC, or financial sectors
- Experience working with (or at) startups.
