Veterinary Technician - Coral Breeze Animal Hospital

Coral Breeze Animal Hospital in Boynton Beach, FL is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our General Practice team. This full-time role supports veterinarians in providing high-quality patient care and client education.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures
• Perform patient restraint, sampling, and basic diagnostic tasks
• Administer vaccines, medications, and treatments as directed
• Collect specimens and conduct in-house laboratory tests
• Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures and recovery
• Take radiographs (X-ray) and assist with dental radiographs
• Maintain accurate medical records and communicate with clients
• Support hospital team with daily tasks and patient care

Qualifications

• Certification as a Veterinary Technician (LVT) or current enrollment in a licensure program is preferred
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology, aseptic technique, and safety protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to handle distressed or frightened animals calmly
