Key Responsibilities Leadership in Automation and CI/CD: Lead the design and enhancement of automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines, setting standards for excellence. Containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes Deployment tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or TeamCityAdvanced Cloud Strategy: Architect and manage complex cloud environments, focusing on performance, security, and scalability. Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Configuration management tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or SaltStackMentorship and Collaboration: Serve as a mentor to DevOps Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and best practices.Strategic Problem-Solving: Tackle complex system performance issues, employing advanced analytical skills to maintain reliability and efficiency. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of experience in DevOps, with proficient coding skills in Python, Java, Ruby, or Go.Near-shore platform admin: Operate and maintain Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, and SonarQube (SaaS/hosted)—availability, patching, configuration, org/repo/project hygiene.Ticket & access management: Resolve support requests for user provisioning/deprovisioning, RBAC/permissions, licenses/seats, and break-glass access within SLA.Data & reporting: Fulfill data and report requests; build recurring dashboards (repos, pipelines, quality gates, coverage, usage) and provide audit evidence on demand.CI/CD enablement: Maintain shared runners/agent pools, pipeline templates, service connections/secrets; troubleshoot build/scan/PR-decoration issues to restore flow.Security & compliance: Enforce branch protection, required checks, SAST/DAST, Sonar quality gates; monitor audit logs and respond to anomalies.Integrations & extensions: Manage marketplace apps and integrations (e.g., Jira/ServiceNow/Teams), webhooks, SSO/SAML/SCIM; automate admin via APIs/CLI.Runbooks & improvement: Keep documentation/FAQs current; drive automation of repetitive tasks (PowerShell/gh/ADO REST); partner with the CoE Principals to refine standards.Leadership skills with the ability to mentor others, influence cross-functional teams, and lead by example in a collaborative environment.Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to foster an environment of teamwork and cooperation.Exceptional English communication skills with team members, stakeholders, and customers, ensuring clear and effective exchange of information.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach to identifying and resolving system issues efficiently.Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and under pressure, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Additional Experience Desired Advanced certifications related to DevOps, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and Kubernetes, validating specialized skills and knowledge.Demonstrated ability to prioritize efforts based on business impact, highlighting strategic planning and project management skills.Proven experience in providing accurate status tracking and reporting, ensuring transparency and effective communication within and across teams.Capability to estimate testing and deployment efforts accurately, showcasing an understanding of project scope and timelines.
