Role Overview

As a veterinarian, you will diagnose and treat illnesses, perform routine and advanced procedures, and guide clients in preventive care and wellness. You will collaborate with a skilled team to provide high-quality patient care in a welcoming facility.

Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat illnesses and injuries in companion animals
• Perform wellness exams, vaccines, dentistry, minor surgeries, and preventive care
• Administer anesthesia and monitor during procedures
• Interpret diagnostic tests (imaging and labs) and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Communicate clearly with clients about diagnoses, prognosis, and treatment options
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow safety and ethical standards
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure excellent patient care

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
• North Carolina veterinary license in good standing
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and dedicated to animal welfare
